It’s Queen Blessing here and today I will be sharing with you what I consider the best way to stash up on beauty products on a budget if you are a Make Up enthusiast like me and live in the United States or any other country that offers what is popularly known as “Subscription Boxes”.
A subscription box basically is a box that contains anywhere from 5-10 products and in this case, I am referring to cosmetics because there are a ton of other types of subscriptions boxes out there but I am focusing mainly on the beauty category.
So far, I have tried 2 Subscription boxes and I can tell you hands down that you need these in your arsenal if you fall into any of these categories;
A. You like to try out beauty products before investing in them.
B. You are a make up collector but don’t want to spend a ton of money purchasing them, considering that there are a gazillion beauty products in the market with new ones popping up each day.
C. You like to explore different brands.
D. You are a beginner to using makeup and are confused on what types or brands to use.
E. You offer makeup services and need to order products from time to time.
The good thing about these beauty subscription boxes is that before you start getting products at all, you get to answer some questions to determine your skin tone, skin type etc as well as product preference. You will also have access to exclusive offers to shop for a wide variety of beauty products at less than the regular retail prices, how cool is that?!
I am sure that if you are still reading up until this point, you must be asking yourself this question so what are the names of these subscription boxes and how can I get them?! Both Boxy Charm and Ipsy boxes are a great deal and offer a wide variety of cosmetics from popular and upcoming brands, however, I prefer the boxy charm boxes to Ipsy but that will be a topic for another day, so be sure to come back to get all the tea on why I think Boxy Charm is currently a fave over Ipsy.
